MEMBER GUEST TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
Participation
Those who are full members at the Club at Grand Key may invite as a guest, any golfer who is not a member of the Club at Grand Key to participate in this year's Member/Guest Tournament. All participants must have a USGA approved handicap to play. If the guest does not have a valid USGA approved handicap, he/she must submit a minimum of 10 signed and dated scorecards dating back to no more than a year. It is the responsibility of each member to ensure their guest has the appropriate information, and fills out the form below.
Format
The format will be 18 holes Team Better-Ball Ninety percent of handicap will be used for both rounds. Competition begins with 8:00 A.M shotgun starts each day.
Practice Round
There will be a practice round the day before the tournament begins. If the member or guest is unable to play the practice round on this date, alternative arrangements for an earlier practice round may be made with the Pro Shop.
Activities
Friday evening: Cocktail Party at the Club at Grand Key, including hors d’oeuvres and a charge bar. The pairings for the Saturday round will be announced as well.
Saturday: 8:00 A.M. shotgun start. 18 hole Team Better Ball format. A grilled lunch will follow.
Sunday: 8:30 A.M. shotgun start. 18 hole Modified Chapman format. There will be an awards banquet immediately following the end of the final round.
Entry Fee
The Entry Fee is $500.00 per team ($287.00 for Cart Lease member). This fee includes:
Three rounds of golf (one practice and two in competition), cart fees, range balls and gratuities.
A gift for every participant.
Coffee, juice, and breakfast each morning.
Friday night cocktail party, with hors d’oeuvres and charge bar.
Grilled lunch on Saturday.
Buffet Luncheon on Sunday. Win, Place and Show Prizes for each round..
Prizes for Closest to the Pin and Straightest Drive for the marked holes
Cancellation Policy
Members may cancel and receive a full refund 1 month prior to the tournament. A member who cancels after then will be assessed a cancellation fee of $100.00.
For those traveling from out of town, the Tournament will end no later than 3 P.M. on Sunday. Please make travel arrangements accordingly.
